EMDR
(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

Tap into natural healing.

Traumatic memories haunt you, and you don’t see a way out.

Trauma seems overwhelming, making you feel stuck.

I offer EMDR therapy to help you get out of your rut.

You’re reliving your worst nightmare.

Although the bad thing or things have already happened, it feels like you’re still living in them. You look over your shoulder constantly, are afraid to leave the house, and worry about driving on the freeway.

Negative thoughts are constantly running software in the background. And to make matters worse, not only is this happening in broad daylight, but it’s also haunting you in your dreams.

Trauma stays stuck until we can move it through, and one way to do that is through using EMDR, a trusted and tried approach to treating trauma, anxiety, and panic.

EMDR offers a way through trauma.

Although you want to live a life worth living, struggling with your daily life has become the norm, and you are sick of it.

The endless negative thoughts are in a loop, affecting your self-esteem and confidence. You suffer in silence and try to hold it all together for everyone else, but you’re not feeling like you’re succeeding in anything. That doesn’t feel very good, but there is another way.

Using EMDR, you will reprocess your stuck memories, replace negative thinking with preferred thoughts about yourself and the world, and feel calm in your body.

You can overcome trauma.

In trauma, there is a mind/body connection. So in therapy, we will set a foundation on pillars of well-being – sleep, nutrition, spiritual, social, and exercise – to improve mood.

We will build skills like four-square breathing, butterfly hugging, and inner advisor to manage the effects of trauma.

Working from a stronger foundation allows you to reprocess those memories and find healing for your inner world through EMDR.

In your outer world, you will learn about boundaries, effective communication, and relationship-building strategies to improve overall well-being and connection.

“Magic, Amazing – This sounds silly, but I feel better!”

These are a few ways my clients describe EMDR therapy with me.

They don’t believe how quickly it works and call it magic. It’s not magic, but it is so much more than traditional talk therapy could ever be.

Often, people see relief in as little as two months. Healing continues, and clients resolve some of their most deep-seated fearful memories.
